Sebastian
If you are reading this it might be that it is important to you who I am. Guess what, I am interested in who you are too. And this is the fundamental thing about me. I am interested in people and their stories.
I have a stage acting degree and directed theatre productions. I was a social worker for almost 10 years. I look for inspiration and I love to inspire. I traveled a lot in my life learning about the beautiful world and people around us. I lived in Australia and I was born in Poland.
My fitness journey started nearly 30 years ago when, recovering from a weak heart, swimming ‘saved’ my life. Then came running, cycling and team sports (volleyball, water polo, basketball), and along those came injuries, including a spinal one. Picking myself up from those injuries or other life obstacles has taught me one simple lesson - never give up and it's never too late.
I self taught in weight training many years ago. It was after a break wanting to help myself somehow and feel better. This led me to discovering passion for being healthy and loving my body with all the imperfections.
Now I moved on to training Calisthenics, bodyweight strength, something like gymnastics. Kind of. I cycle, swim and climb, and practice Tai Chi as my meditation. I cook and prep my meals and drink plenty of water. I do have fun too but about that when we work together.
Philosophy
PERSONAL TRAINING is about enabling you to implement a holistic and tailor-made plan to create new habits and achieve a significant change in your life.
Wether this is losing weight, recovering from injury, returning to fitness or simply exploring a different way of training, I will be helping you all the way to stay inspired and motivated.
I believe that understanding and accepting our own body limitations is a key for an effective training and where boundaries can be crossed safely.
When you train with me, you will:
-
Workout your muscles safely and gradually building strong foundation and preventing yourself from injuries
-
Gain the muscle mass and the understanding of your own body
-
Workout your mind and attitude to fitness
-
Learn to respect and love your own body
-
Be supported and motivated to make progress
-
Be trained and educated to be sustainable in the changes you will be making
-
Be entertained as I have a sense of humour and I like to smile a lot
